She was voted Teacher Of The Year 2004-2005 at the school in which she taught..She was my best friend.

It has been four years now and I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone by. There is not a day that I see a patient in the hospital that does not remind me of your suffering. Now I know your in a better place without suffering and I hope full of joy. I miss you Lucy and it still hearts. I Love you.
I miss you so much. There is not a day I do not think of you or a night I shed a tear in the emptiness I have losing you. I pray for you and your soul and wish you happiness and peace in heaven. I miss your laughter and love.
The Broken chain we little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the some. Your did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, tho’ we cannot see you, you’re always at our side. Our family chain is broken, nothing seems the same, but God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
