Dear Friend,
For Nial, a dear friend of gave of himself tirelessly and with humour and caring. We all miss you. My fondest memory is of working on a convention with you last year. Your lovely wife Marian used to keep our heads on straight about when we were to meet up to ensure all was going according to plan. Those morning phone calls when you would ask me was I up yet and I would confess that I wasn’t quite up and you would laugh and say well you were back in bed again and Marian had gone to get your paper. Your bright smile, your laugh, forever stilled.

Nial, it was a privilege to have known you, our richer for having known you, poorer for having lost you.
